This year, we're very excited that it's located in our backyard at the Oregon Fairgrounds and Event Center in Salem, OR! Even the best-built trailers and touring coaches in the world need maintenance and repairs, and AANW is committed to keeping you on the road making Memories & Adventures (with an Airstream in great working condition) by offering on-site service at the rally. We'll begin offering mobile service reservations in 1.5 hour blocks beginning Thursday June 21, and service will begin Saturday, June 23rd at 9 am. Due to high demand and lack of full facilities, please understand that our rally service offerings will be somewhat limited. And please allow your fellow rally attendees a service opportunity by limiting your booking to a single 1.5 hour service block. Thanks and see you at the rally!
Come test your back-in, hitch up skills at our (professionally monitored) time trial contest that will be going on during the rally! The contest will involve backing an unhitched truck several feet, exiting the truck to fully hitch up, getting back behind the wheel and backing the Airstream into a "camp site" located at a 90 degree angle to the initial start position.
AANW trucks and Airstreams will be provided and the contest is first come, first served. Solo attendees may enter, but will be provided a spotter. Two person teams may also enter. Prizes awarded for the first 20 brave souls to enter the contest and for the overall time-trial winner!
There is still time to register for our Hitch Up- Back In Timed Test taking place on Tuesday, June 26th and Friday, June 29th. 10 AM- Noon both days. Please visit our Team in the Bullpen to sign up!
As part of our continuing commitment to fully support new Airstream owners in the learning curve, we are sponsoring rally attendance for 12 new AANW Guests. In addition to access to all the standard rally activities, our Newbies will be hosted at a Happy Hour event on Saturday June 24 and will be paired for the duration of the rally with a Wally Byam Airstream Club veteran.
